Hello,

I just got my 07 Cobalt SS Supercharged last Saturday. I had driven a few before this and noticed that they had a 10 inch sub in the trunk. My Cobalt did not come with a sub, but it has the pioneer speakers and everything. My question is would I be able to buy the sub itself and hook it up to the system the car comes with? Will I need to run wires or will the wires be there just not hooked up?

Did you buy it used?
Look around where the sub would be, check if there is a dongle with 4 wires hanging around somewhere

 

if u have a ss/sc then yes the wires SHOULD be there

 

Yes I bought it used. I see now there is a set of wires behind the cloth just hanging there. Anyone wanna sell there factory SUB?

I think there going for $40-50
Make sure you pick up a 10mm deep socket, the small sockets wont work when you bolt it in, also get an extention for your ratchet

 

I got all the tools. Not worried about that.
