Started some minor upgrades

So, I was absolutely tired of the stock HU in the car (after nearly 6 years of ownership lol), and a buddy of mine was unloading a nice Pioneer unit, so I decided to grab it.

Installing these for the doors, since the FR speaker is blown:

Should have the new door speakers in by the weekend, just too damn hot out today at this point, and the next couple of days, the weather is gonna suck.

Will probably replace the rear deck speakers at some point as well, and go with a small (8") sub in the trunk.

I think there are better HUs on the market but the Pioneer ones are very easy to use with driving. I don't have Pioneer speakers though, just a HU.

Base. And with a blown speaker up front, it NEEDS to go. Didn't need some insanely good speakers, but something that at least will sound reasonably better than what is in there now.

And for $37 for the pair, I couldn't say no.

The HU came from a buddy of mine who was looking to unload it for pretty cheap. Cost me $100 to get it from him, was worth it.

Installed the speakers this AM, sounds MUCH better than the blown ones that were there. Plus, they sound pretty good (for what they cost me).

Made a bracket myself for the new speakers being installed (no pics sadly).

Here is one of the factory speaker though after being removed:
