Is the steering wheel controls a one wire resistive system? I'm looking into using a carpc joycon ex for my carpc.

what about this, take a usb controller from a keyboard and connect each steering wheel button to where certain keys from the keyboard would be connected, and then assign those keys in my carpc to do whatever it is i need it for. basically assign volume to the up and down arrows, next and back to left and right, and assign mute to whatever i want. this way the pc sees it as a keyboard and nothing special needs to be done.
