Stereo=Keyless Entry Issue

Ok... so I installed an Alpine iXA-W404 head unit in my '08 Cobalt Sport today using the Scosche wiring harness and now my keyless entry doesnt work! Have any of you guys had this problem or know what I can do??

Did you check the battery in the remote? Might've just died coincidentally. The RKE module is in the trunk and isn't tied to the head unit at all.

I took apart my remote and found out the battery had somehow gotten dislodged. thanks for the advice.

It happens. The battery clip in the remotes suck.
