stock amp, with new sub

What is the stock amps ohm...if its 2 ohms, can i add a 4 ohm speaker...

I believe the stock sub has an impedance of 2 ohms. If you replace it with a 4 ohm sub, you will only draw half the power from your stock amp.

your not gonna get any better sound,the stock sub is pretty much optimized to the 100 watts the stock amp is putting out

yup... i wouldnt even try. FYI thou the stock sub is a DVC 2 ohm sub and its ran of 2 of the 6 channels on the amp along with the 6X9s
