I have laying around a
Alpine mrp-450 amp, mono 220watt rms

Tomorrow i plan on hooking this up to the stock sub until I need to replace it, interested to see how it sounds.



My question is, would these speakers work for the front and rear?



Boston Acoustics 746 4x6-inch Car Audio Plate Speakers (front)

Boston SC95 6x9's (rear)

I'm interested to know if anyones had any luck with 4x6 speakers where the stock 6.5s are, and how well the stock sub handles 220watts.

4X6 is the most retarded size ever and putting them in the cobalt is the most fucked up thing ive ever herd in my life

ull blow the stock sub with that power but u can give it a go and see what happens

 

4x6 lol....trade em in for 6.5s dude. 4x6s belong in places like chevy vans and mercedes benz dashes pre 1995.
