Stock speaker question

This all started about a month ago. I was driving around, hit a bump and from the passengers speaker I hear a chchchchchchchchch and the vocals lighten up drastically. It reminded me of a wire coming loose from a voicecoil and hitting the metal speaker sides. I went ahead and shut off the car and the chchchchch (ing) disappears when I start the car until I hit another bump in the road. Has anyone else had this problem? I have not taken the door panel off to get to the speaker, but will be tomorrow and was looking for a solution outside the realm of replacing the speaker.

(It has been raining here all day and night) I did that tonight, but with no avail. I pulled the speaker out, which I might add is incredibly easy. 3 screws and alot of snaps hold that door panel on. I checked the leads that run from the adapter to the voicecoil and they are attached and great, but I did notice that there was precipitation within the door itself. It makes me wonder if that is my key problem right there! If that is, it kind of scares me that water is getting into the inside of the door instead of staying on the outside where it belongs! (ie: door rusting from inside out is another concern that I have) I am going to run a few test tomorrow (today) to see if this happens more when its wet outside or dry outside and I will have my prognosis then.
