Is this a stock speaker in the trunk?



Or is it aftermarket? I just bought an '06 SS and didn't notice this until getting it home.

i have the same in my 08 Sport and think its crap. i dont really feel or hear extra bass from it. whats the point of an "upgraded" stereo if it doesn't sound that great (although i haven't heard the stock system). plus, in a digital age, who needs a 6-disc changer. my iPod has everything i need when im not listening to XM.but i wanted the sport and had no choice over this matter. oh well

The sub is crap, but the 6 speaker pioneer system elsewhere kicks ass compared to stock.

yeh realize i did say for STOCK its one of the better STOCK subs ive heard i not comparing it to aftermarket subs

Uhh, my stock sub absolutely SLAMS! Fold down one rear seat, EQ the music properly to have the right bass frequencies going to the sub, and it will sound amazing.

Mine does too.. Ive never heard anything bad about the pioneer system.

the only thing i added was tweeters. Sounds perfect

sub sounds good if u know how to use it i normally have the bass almost as low as it could go and treb about 3/4 up find the right volume and it will sound good. but remember they don't call it stock for nothing lol
