stock speakers aftermarket amp?

I want to know if I could power my interior stock speakers with a low 4-channel amp. I have the premium pioneer sound system. Does anyone know the specs of these speakers.

good Q. I'd imagine you could however you'd have to re-wire everything. and I'm not sure of the spec for the speakers. Also, if I remember correctly there is something about the sub that you need to check...eh, i'll just wait till someone more knowledgeable comes in, but good idea.

The sub is a DVC it gets its power fronm the rear outs on the amp but so do the 6x9's in the back deck lid. The amp is 6 channels with some kind of internal x-over, not sure of the exact specs or setup.
To be honest with you, IMO changing the amp is a waste of time, and I don't think it will sound like you want it to.
Getting wires to the back speakers is easy, but in order to change the amp you would have to put all new wires to the front speakers. This is a pain in the ass. On top of all that remember the stock speakers are all 2ohm speakers so you would have to set he amp up to run the same.
Heres what I suggest, take it for what its worth. Rather than change the amp, change the speakers, something with a crossover system, The stock amp wil run somewhere around 45 watts (give or take a couple) into what ever you put in there, it will sound nice and you get to skip running wires into the front doors

Bad idea... most aftermarket 2 chans will run the most power at 2 ohm. So if you swap the amp you will get more output but blown speakers in a few months. Most aftermarket speakers are 4ohm so unless you get 2 ohm's you will loose output just swaping them.

Swaping the amp would be easy if you have an aftermarket HU but more painful if you have the stock HU. Let me know if you want me to let you know how do do either

unless you get 2 ohm's you will loose output just swaping them.

Thats why you get Infinity Reference Series, which are made to run at 2 ohms and can be swaped out with the stock speakers, still sound good and not loose anything in the process
