Does anyone have a wiring guide for the stock subwoofer? When I bought my car it didn't come with the sub. I just recently bought one but when I went to plug it in whoever took the original one out snipped the wires... so I'm looking for a wiring guide to I can try to hardwire the sub into my car. Thanks in advance

I too have the exact same issue!! I just got a stock sub yesterday and put it in this morning. the wires on the sub were cut inside the box. I ran some speaker wire from the sub, out of the box and put them to what I assume is the wiring harness for the factory sub. It gets power but I can hardly hear it. I didn't notice until doing research just now and saw that the factory sub has two positive and negative terminals, I only wired to one side and wired just that two the positive and negative of the harness.


*EDIT* I just looked and noticed that there are two more positive and negative that I didn't wire into. I haven't rewired yet but I'm assuming the positive and negative on the other side of the sub connect to the other positive and negative that I didn't notice this morning (it was dark).

 

yes the stock sub has 2 pos and 2 neg. it should receive power from all 4 wires coming from the amp
