Stock system except 6x9s in rear

I was thinking about getting an amp to help allow my sub and speakers to sound alittle better. I dont know much about speaker systems but what would people say is a good setup with what i have. Just with an amp.

O and how much more power can the stock sub take?

I dont realy think its a good iead to put a amp onto factory speakers. I dont think they can take the extra power. As far as the sub im not sure, but i'd say its like the speakers.

honestley if your not happy with it now.... replace all the speakers except for the 10 in the trunk you will like it way better that way and if you have a good sound place by you just tell them that you would rather have 6" speakers instead of 6X9 they are round.... ford puts them in everything..... and a good pair will sound AMAZING

the stock amp can't take anymore power than what is being put to it already (~100W)

you can do an amp bypass with a good 5 channel amp or something but its going to be a bitch.

The easiest thing to do would be adding an aftermarket amp for the stock sub. otherwise getting an aftermarket amp to work with the stock speakers/cd player can be done but requires alot of parts work and hopefully someone competitant that knows what they are doing.

you can always do the ghetto thing and throw in an aftermarket cd player. it will give the stock amp more signal X10 or so. at some point it will overdrive the stock amp and make it sound worse again but only at higher volumes
