Subwoofer Box Mounting

I have one tweleve inch alpine, in a q-logic ported box. Anyways I noticed it slides around a lot while I'm driving. I was wondering if anyone has secured your boxes, and if so how or to what?

go to home depot and buy some L brackets and some metal tapping screws. drill one end of the bracket on the box, and the other into the floorboard

That works for you? I was thinking about doing that actually I just didn't know if that could mess up the floorboard as it doesnt seem to be too strong.

yep, it works awesome. and believe me, that floorboard is a lot stronger than you think. i actually burned out one metal tapping screw trying to get into it, but the other one went in fine

Alright coool, I'm gonna do that cause I'm sick of driving like a grandma for fear of ripping some wires.

or go to walmart, and by heavy duty velcro and throw it on the bottom of the box. People laugh at this all the time, but that industrial strength heavy duty velcro will not budge. Plus you avoid having to drill holes into everything

^^^ correct. and the simple fix to worrying about wires is making long wires for the sub box and mounting the amp on the back of the seat. Not saying u shouldn't mount the box but still
