it has 1year extra warrenty, 4v preouts instead of 2v, and comrs with ipod cable.

Check out avic411.com i wanted a f700bt but the 90 is a lil cheaper 6th ave with a coupon. I dont need DVD but i'm trying to figure for myself if it's cheaper/more worth it to buy a f700bt (free install kit) from crutchfield OR f90bt from 6th ave (a lil cheaper and no install kit) think about that!

i think the coupons come and go. there are many reports on 411 from pll getting the f90bt under 600 shipped at 6th ave. They are authorized for pioneer. I believe pioneer won't warrenty over the web. pioneer said so but might be wrong. Try to call in with a credit card number so the reciept doesn't say online. I don't know too much about electronics, but have been breathing this topic for the last 2 weeks

*****************6th ave thru amazon $598.98shipped at 3:12am

Just finished installing mine this weekend...haven't hacked it yet though...

It took 5 full days to install...keep in mind that I changed out all of the factory speakers, did some minor door dampening, and added two aftermarket amps...

The install is insanely painful but the unit is worth it (imo)...it really does do everything. The GPS map for my area is slightly dated, but it was able to direct me to a POI with turn by turn navigation which was awesome. The ipod controls for the unit are better than the PAL system that GM sells...changes made through your steering wheel are immediate and very accurate (thank you PAC)...The voice recognition wasn't really great though...I could get the unit to make phone calls (it picked up my BB Bold bluetooth and integrated it into the system immediately) but it had issues with other commands...The DVD is amazing...never really knew what I was missing there....The unit itself does have an initial startup lag that can be a bit annoying...The lag isn't so bad if your car isn't turned off for long periods of time...but otherwise you will have to give it a few minutes to fully start up...The only other con is the USB input...which is located off of the ipod cable. The problem is that the jack is located about 1 1/2' from the ipod jack so switching to a USB device may require and USB extension cable (depending on how you run your ipod cable)...
