Talking cobalt SS in-dash DVD / NAV

I am looking for a in-dash touchscreen 7 inch dvd / nav that is XM ready to take the place of the stock radio and heated seat panel. all I have seen online is the flip out moniters i've heard stories of guys trying to put in after market tv's dvd's etc.. and the engine temp and trip popping up on the tv screen.

does anybody have a in-dash unit installed or found one that works with out any problems?
please let me know thanks...

Its the avic-d1. I bought it over a year ago and it was in my 04 Grand Am GT1. Not really sure how much I paid for it then. I dont have one of the steering wheel control adapters in because I dont really use them that often

This is what I got.

Alpine IVA-D310

http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...model=IVA-D310

IMO By far the best piece you will ever find. You can get them off ebay for about $1,030 Brand new in box. Be carefull of some people though, they try to sell you links to get them for $500, they are scams.

For those of you with them. Are you useing the stock amp or did you change that out also?

I read that some are able to get the steering wheel controlls to work and that is cool.

YEA, I have the avic z1 installed and the metal thing behind the stock radio needs to be pushed back and i used the metra 95 9303 and it works perfectly. It retails for like 2500 but i got mine off ebay brand new for like 1500. Awesome headunit.
