I bought a Clarion MAX385VD head unit from a member off of here. I guess it came out of a ION 06 and I drive a 06 Cobalt ss/sc I thought it would pretty much be a swap out. Thats not the case :S The pins for the Clarion look like this:


And in the cobalt they look like this:

Is it doable? I'm going to bring it in to be installed what should I know before I bring it in?

you need a new interface with the longer style plug in, i had the same issue with mine, had those 2 smaller plugs u would find in a new style cobalt and some 06's musta came with those as well first one i ordered came like that too
