turn signal bass?

hey all,

ive had this problemf or a while but never bother to do anything about it but its now bugging the hell outta me..

everytime i turn my turn signal on i here a small thump in my bass and then everytime the signal should be ticking i here it as bass thump thump thump thump thump thump and then another little bit louder thump when it goes off...

i am wondering if this is a ground issue or could it be that i dont have the module wiring harness for my deck an di just have one of the cheap wiring only ones...

any idea's/suggestions?

wow thats a new one for me...turn signal induced thumping.....hmmmm.

sounds like a ground issue or a spot in which it's picking up cross-talk

X2 i'd say cross talk of some type but the wires should be sheilded well enough... *shrug*

the other thing was that i believe i took the power wire to the fuse box and hooked that into the turn signal fuse with one of those dual fuse hook-ups....im going to trying changing that and see if that affects it...never thought of it until now :p

Its gonna be because fo your wiring. The turn signal noise is normally made by the left frotn door speaker, so aftermarket stuff especially cheapo stuff can mess with it.

Sorry to thread jack but im getting a simular(sp?) issue as you. only differnce is all summer mine is fine but as soon as its cold out i get thumps and pops from my speakers!! im all stock tho even radio? and took it to the dealer but i got the "cant make issue happen story". any ideas !!

here are the exact simptoms. start car thump thump and stops, turnign radio off wont do anything and radio wont play music and is non responsive. sounds go away. turn signal comes on, thum thump blah blah eventually it goes away when the car warms up WTF started doing this before any mods were done

I don't quite follow, are you running the stock setup or are you running 1 RF 10 and a sony amp like it says in your sig. If so do you have an LOC or an aftermarket HU

If yours is an 07 or newer the chimes and signals come through the LF speaker, if you have an LOC and have it connected to the LF speaker wires it might cause issues, however I think from what you have said, that you either have one serious ground issue or whatever HU your using is fubar, could be the stock amp but thats a long shot.

If the HU is non responsivethen theres a problem with it somewhere.
Do you have a cell that can record video.
Record it happening and then take that to the dealership and show them, but if you have an amp and sub hooked up, take it out first. You damn well know there going to blame it on that before they even look at anything.

i hated the chimes, the turn signal clicks, etc in mine.

i love not having the chime alerts honestly. feels more like a drivers car now.

This is gunna have to be because of your rcas, my guess is your using shitty RCA cables and it's sitting right next to the power wire for the blinker
