Updated Bluetooth module

So my roommate has a 2011 cruze Eco and found that he could install the camaro bluetooth module, so he can do hands free and stream music over it. I can get the details later but has anyone tried?

Edit: here is the thread

Sounds promising. Never heard of anyone doing that.

I personally love the USB hookup much better due to the ability to charge the phone at the same time, but I would probably try this if possible.

You can still use the USB, but people with android or other Bluetooth devices can stream music instead of using the aux cable

You have an aftermarket hu or module?

This thread is about the stock Bluetooth module being upgraded I don't care about aftermarket stuff.

Ya the stock camaro pdim thing plugs into the cruze and bam works. Curious if it fits the cobalt, it is a similar radio but a prior gen, just looks diff. The cruze is like our cobalt one. Bluetooth phone calls but no streaming, but the camaro does the phone calls and streams over it as well for music.
