USB Failed to Load

So I just bought an HHR SS and when I put my usb thumb/flash stick with music on it in the usb port the radio just says "Device Load Fail" I realize this is a cobalt site but my cobalt radio doesnt have the usb port and i figured the hhr and cobalt radios work the same way(they look pretty much the same). Anybody ever have the same problem? Its driving me nuts and I have searched the site and looked through like 30 pages of threads. Thanks guys

Micky

I have a usb sd card reader that I tried and it works fine reading mp3s off an sd card so thats the route im gonna go, instead of waste money on buying another stick that may or may not work. Thanks

Did you try reformating and starting over?

I run my 160GB USB hard drive on the cobalt with no issue.
