Vision bulbs slight prob.

I installed the kit from vision bulbs about 2 months ago with no problems worked great. They were 6k bulbs in the stock headlights (9007). Well anyways when i got the kit the harness was wrong so i had to pretty much make my own. For the past couple days my lights have been working only when the want to but before that they worked great. Can the cold weather effect the lights working or could it be the wiring not getting enough power? I checked everything its hooked up great so i have nothing else to think of.

cold will effect things, cold makes material shrink so if you have a poor conection the cold may be effecting it.

what did you do for your harness? do you have any pics of the harness you made or how you have them wired up?

in all honesty...sounds like a bad ground .you could have a pinched wire somewhere in your install/broken wire...who knows. is it just 1 bulb that is acting up or is it both? if its just 1 switch it with the other side and it might just be a bad bulb

yes that is true they are great upgrade when they work but usually dont. If it doesnt work its always both bulbs that dont turn on at all. Its weird when i play with the on/off switch on the turn signal lever like twist it a couple times they come on, if not they never come on.

Check the fuse....... My fuse was in there slightly crooked, and the lights wouldn't turn on, I had to pop the hood & *flick* the fuse, and they would come to life... So, check & make sure the fuse is hitting all of the metal-to-metal contacts.

Yeah i had to do that for a long time then i re-wired some stuff and it didnt do that again untill a few days ago. And i pulled everything apart last night and re-wired the whole kit and I still have nothing so im just going to throw them into the parts bin. I ordered projectors headlights and new bulbs already dont have time to mess around with it all.
