The only other option would be to get a set of baffles and cut a hole in the back. Even then thou you might get something weird with the sound. Ive seen it once but a guy made "covers" for the top of the speaker. a sort of umbrellla out of sheet metal to cover the top of the speaker so the water would hit that and drip off the side missing the speaker.

^^^ I ordered those. The plan is to plasti-dip the baffles and cut out some holes so the speaker can push air in and out. Doing the install tomorrow hopefully they don't cut my mid bass

Conclusion:
The above baffles did the job but I tested them before tightening everything down and they sounded like ****. The solution was a "3 x "3 square hole facing down so water could drip off without it going into the speakers and I got good sound. Plasti-dip is a no go on foam so scratch that plan.
