I have a 2006 Cobalt ss. I am looking for a high output alternator, Will a high output alternator for a 2.4L work on my 2.0L supercharged motor? the mounting looks the same but i wanted to ask to make sure if it would work or not.

I'm selling 2 h/o. one needs a regulator swap (the one from DC power inc., retails for ~600+).

 

no, your alternator spins the other way. you could incorporate a turbo swap with it and it will be a ok though!

haha yea the s/c alts go the other way. i just got mine welded.

 

depends on the alt.. some can spin either way only diff is cooling
