what causes this?

what causes this?

when i push and let go of any of my power window buttons my sub hits. what causes this? its a shallow mount pioneer in stock box with a mtx amp pushing it

Bad electrical grounding usually. If it's just your window switch, start there.

Double check all the grounds related to the head unit and the amp.

i was trying to narrow it down today. when i unplug my antenna from the back of the radio my sub makes a pulsating tone. i double checked the grounding of the radio and it seems fine. i checked the grounding of the sub. everything seems fine so im gonna check my rcas next

nope the ground for the radio is fucked and its getting a "better" ground from the antenna. re run a good ground and you should be fine

re ran a ground to a better spot and it is still doing this.

try running a ground from the deck chassis to the rca inputs.

google pioneer pico fuse

yea those RCA pigtails have shitty grounds from pioneer. just ground the outer part of the rcas to the deck chassis

case closed. thanks for the help emperor. it ended up being the ground from the radio. i dont know why but i ran another wire and it fixed it.
