I just got a 93 cavalier as some of you may know, Im wondering, basically what do you need to do to add in a subwoofer system into a car, I dont need a detailed explanation, just a basic of what I need to buy for it and that stuff.

Monster Cables, Decent sized AMP for the Sub, wiring harness, a cd deck that will work w/sub. etc..

 

Power supply wiring kit, the wires to connect the sound signal, 1 Farad Power Cap, Some type of sub(quantity, size) and an amp that is fan cooled and has enough continous rms power to reach 90percent of the factory sub rms max rating. Also get the right type of box that the sub(S) require. Just remember you get what you pay for, and dont push it too hard unless you want to replace speakers and amps every year.
