what module do i need?
what module do i need?
before i get bashed for not serching the threads id like to make it clear that i did..but im not finding what im looking for maybe im looking in the wrong place, thanx in advance for the help. So i bought a pioneer avh5500 double din, i bought the a dashkit and scosche wire harness... i went to an car audio shop to go get it installed after the install we noticed that there was no sound coming from the speakers, the guy told me that i need to buy a special module for my car because it has premium sound system, is this true? if so can some one tell me which one i need. i have an 07 ss/na with pioneer system.
i have the Scosche-GM2500I-GM-Double-Din-Kit-and-Interface, will it work, or do i have to buy the PAC Pacific Accessory C2R-GM24B Interface Adapter? or will doing what was written above work?
No need to buy another interface, if its still plugged and everything else is wired, go do what is stated up
Scosche made these to fit several vehicles and didn't keep in mind to wire a plug on the interface for the AMP turn on cable. Once that wire sees a signal it will turn your amp on.
If that Tech didn't do that he might want to consider calling Scosche Tech Support if he doesn't know what he is doing lol

No problem at all, lemme know it goes, btw there is two harnesses on the car, u want to wire it the pink wire off the main harness where the power, and ground cables go to not the other smaller plug that only has two rca's wired to it
