What size amp can I handle

I have an old MTX thunder 7124 12" subwoofer. Here is the page with the specs of it
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/thunderSub7124.cfm
What size amp should I get to get the most power out of it without blowing it? A link to said amp would be much appreciated

Depends on how much money you want to spend

Low price, Plus class A/B so less efficient

Med price, plus class D so better all around for running subs

High priced, expensive but it gets the job done and leaves room for upgrade, just don't set the gain top full on it

Now that being said, I know people are going to knock me for this but if you want an all around, very effecient, good powered, amp, thry these. I had one running 2 10's and then2 running 2 JL 10w3's and they pounded real nice. The guy I sold them to has them running 4 Rockford Fosgate P2 12's in a Monte Carlo and its loud as hell.
BTW- Not to worry at 4 ohms they put out 424watts, right in your range, heres the link

ok quick question to add on, sorry I'm such a noob at subwoofer wiring.
Anyways, I plan on upgrading to a dual suboofer setup soon and have a quick question. I plan on wiring two dual voice coil subs to a mono amp like this
http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/...4-ohm_mono.jpg
My question is, if the amp I get says 500w RMS x 1, will both subs be getting 500 watts, or will the subs split the power and only get 250w each?
