what is or does the wiring harness do for your car stereo vs. a wiring connector?
i work at walmart and some times i help customers in the auto section. they come in looking for the wiring harness for their car, but walmart doesnt sell them, just the wiring connector.
i try to explain to them the difference between them. maybe you guys can explain it better.

no idea what the connector ur taking about but walmart sells a few common harnesses. I have a feeling its the same thing

 

If I understand you correctly, your definition of wiring connector is a wire harness.

ok, if they are both the same, then how come our harness/connector is so $$$$. the ones at walmart are about $12~$20. i think the one i needed for my cavalier was out $50.

heres ours which is $96

 

well that one u have pictured is a amp integration/module harness. all that bullshit is much more then plastic and copper (like shown in the first pic)

but they are both one in the same "harnesses"
