Wire hanging on driver side

So my back left speaker has not been working and i figured out its not my GMOS LAN 04. Its probably the actual wiring. A few months ago I found this wire hanging. It looks like it melted. Can this be the speaker wire going to the amp?

Yea i was thinkin the same thing. Maybe it was my installer. It could be for my PAC adapter. Does anyone know what the part number is for? I looked it up and couldn't find anything.
