Exclamation Wire Harness Changed for 07

Ok the dumb@$$'es at chevrolame decided to change the wireharness for 07. I have a base LS and instead of the single 24-pin GM connector I have two smaller black connectors that don't fit the metra 70-2103 wire harness.
Does anyone know where I can get the correct wire harness? I'm coming up empty searching all the sites.

Actually circuit city says that DOESN'T fit. Its also a 2-door coupe. Plus the picture doesn't look right at all. I have two black connectors, each about the size of that blue connector in the harness picture above.l

Looks like this harness for an 07 Avalanche from ebay would be the correct harness. Scoshe lists the harness as TBA. I sent an e-mail to Metra about it. I can't find much online about this.

Metra wasn't a help, they don't know anything. All they want to do is sell me a $130 OnStar harness that wouldn't even have the right connectors. Idiots!
From what I can dig up, it looks like American International GM 2006-2007 Harness model GWH-406 is the harness the 07 guys need. We have the same radio as the avalanche/ion/vue.

Here's american international's application guide. Says its for non-Bose, non-OnStar radios
http://www.americaninternational.net...e_7-19-06s.pdf

And a picture:

Edit: I went ahead and purchased one from ebay for $11.58 shipped after verifiing with the seller they had them in stock. I will keep everyone updated on the progress.

Ok good news, bad senario.
Good News: the connectors on the GWH-406 do fit the 2007 wiring harness.
Bad News: the pin-out is different.

Good News: the pin-out could be changed to work with the 2007 if you don't break any of the pins in the process
Bad News: I don't feel like busting up the connector trying to change it. Plus the pin-out might be different than listed in Zinner's post and I don't feel like getting out the volt meter.

Also the 1988+ GM Antenna Adapter wouldnt plug into the factory antenna. There's a black, free-spinning plastic sheath around the OEM antenna connector. The whole antenna connector doesn't look compatible to the 88+ adapter.

Looks like GM completely f^cked things up for 2007. I have HATED GM ever since 2000-2001 when they came out with the stupid databus and now the GM-LAN. The engineer who came up with this idea needs shot in the F-in head. "Hey lets make the radio a vital part of the car!" what a freakin retared idea. I've done probably 30 radio installs in my lifetime and every GM one is a nightmare.

According to crutchfield, the HHR needs a Chrysler antenna adapter. WTF? From the pics I can find on ebay, that is the adapter we need for the 2007 radio. Why the hell did they switch to a chrysler-style antenna??

This looks exactly like the connector on the radio:

yes i have just started tearing my dash apart and wroking on the radio. I purchased the single plug wire harness and noticed i need a double -plug.

has anyone got this to work? and what is the antenna adapter for the 07? I purchased this one:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-BiL7U2m...10&i=12040GM10

and it did not fit.

so i got this one instead, for free from crutchfield. its on its way.

You need a chrysler antenna adapter as I stated above. So far I've found no harness for the 07s. I'm just using the aux port with a small 1GB MP3 player and its working out ok for now.

Ya well my problem is, I have subs to hook up, and I cant because there are no RCA outputs on the stock headunit. I did find a wire harness on ebay for an HHR that i Think will fit.

What do you think?

think it will fit?
