I have been looking for a wiring harness to work for my SS/TC and I can not find one... I ordered the 70-2103 didnt work.... and the GMOS-LAN4 it did not work...

I guess the 08s are different.... There is 2 plugs in the back... all the other kits I bought came with one plug..

Any one know what harness will work with OnStar too?

 

I have the GMOS-LAN-04 in my car right now and it works perfect, so does the OnStar

 

wait so does the 2 plugs on the back of our head units go into that one big piece thats on the GMOS?

 

yes...and you also might have to tap into the connector 2 pin 14 (white/black) accessory wire and join that with the red wire from the GMOS-LAN, that's how I have it wired up.

 

you know how on the GMOS LAN 4... It has 2 plugs.... One plug is long... and the other cord is short and bigger with 2 wires coming from it?

whats the short cord with 2 wires go to?

 

the one with the black connector or the one with the rca's?

 

it must be the connector because its definately not on the side of RCA's

i dont have a BLACK connector

 

you dont have a big black connector (one big piece that the 2 stock plugs go into)?

 

ima go outside and check right now... im dumb... i just looked at it and seen our stock head unit had 2 cables and the GMOS only had one so I figured **** its the wrong one... I should have tried to put both in the one wow

its not black its silver... it might be the same thing just different color

only difference is yours is black and mine is silver...

thanks man you saved me ALOT of trouble I was ready to order a new harness because they didnt "look" the same...

but some other guy told me that maybe the 2 plugs go into that one SILVER piece or BLACK piece in your case...

but ours looks different? for one I have 1 more plug then you

and 2 mine is silver and yours is black

they gave me gmos-04 not lan-04... so it doesnt fit.. im pissed

 

damn, no wonder why you dont have a BLACK plug. The LAN has the BLACK plug, get them to exchange it!

 

i knew it when u pmed me (but ive never seen the regular non lan 04 in person so)... lol i was gonna wale on ur so bad for not trying to plug it in but i guess ill let it slide since it wouldnt work
