going to put a dvd player in my car and i need a harness the local future shop wants a killing can i get one online cheaper? also need a dash kit too

my cars a 2008 ss/tc


also wants the max size of a dvd player that will fit in the dash, not side to side or up and down i mean back to front the one im looking at is 165mm

will the stock amp and sub work?

 

yes all u need is to hook up the remote wire and the metra harness should have that, if not you can always cut that one wire and attach it

 

i dont wanna have to cut the stock harness at all....

there has to be a harness that i can be positive it will let me keep the stock amp and sub and also the steering wheel volume and such controls

 

again the metra harness should have the remote turn on. but if u want to be 100% sure you should look for one locally. Steering wheel controls is a whole different adapter

He's gonna lose chimes with that harness.

 

yup hell lose chimes but thats the only "cheaper" route. the gmlan-04 that future sells is what 100+

 

dont really care about chimes but that last one i posted will that give me steering controls?
