lol that is true. overall the subs aren't really made for spl and the box design is iffy at best BUT if its 148 that's not too far off what i hit.

I am audiophile myself, but this is just gross excess.... Why do all these people with these outrageous systems play the shittiest music? Is it some sort of sick joke I am unaware of? I was waiting for Bruno to come dancing out infront of the cobalt..

And really, a 6 speaker flat wall blocking your view in a 2.2 4*4 isn't that impressive.

For those who love the low end Hz and pump these speakers into the backs of their heads:

a wall and audiophile are completely polar.

i could talk **** but he didn't really post numbers.... a comment 6 months ago he said he did 148 where as i did 149.3 yet i also was regional SQ champ last year. so yes you can have a loud system that sounds good too

I meant audiophile as in I collect vintage Hi FI set ups, speakers etc. I have quite the collection. Of course you can have a loud system that sounds good. Its easy as **** these days for anyone that knows what they are doing. The problem is the car itself acts as a phase cancelling nightmare..Those speakers standing waves are much too big to ever be of any use from inside the car. And As long as that speaker enclosure is inside the car (another baffled enclosure with glass) it's going to suffer when trying to impress unsuspecting people in the wallmart parking lot..

Its keeping it classy and well planned out thats the key. I just dont see that here.

right... im just saying an audiophile likes clarity and SQ. a wall is the exact opposite. the only thing a wall is good for is to get loud. my point was: the same reason you don't see drag cars on the auto x tracks is the same reason you don't see people with walls playing SQ tracks... there is literally no point

im not familar with the new stuff but the older T amps were supposedly pretty good. i never liked the look of them and the settings are a pain but otherwise they did well. Now the new stuff may just be a similar look and complete garbage on the inside or it might be the same quality stuff i really don't know
