XM and new radio
Talking about XM... I have had XM since I bought the car in 2009 (new car) and it was gone after 3 months. Then came back a few months after. I have had it without interruption for almost 2 years now, and never paid a penny for this. I guess I'm lucky!
My question is: If I uprade to a new and better stereo unit...would I keep my "lucky privilege" of having XM without subscription? Is this info sotred in my current unit or I could change it without problem??
Thanks!

correct. the thing about being lucky is they dont know and with however many subscribers they have and new units all the time they will probably never check but you so long as call about it, replace the radio anything and you can bet your luck will end real fast. plus like c4 said its completely different
