XM Reception
Just curious to anyone else with XM who mounted their antenna on the dash. I get fair reception but it seems to cut out. I also get some random errors where it will freeze and I will have to restart the unit. I have the antenna mounted on the metal pad that came with my GPS antenna on the left side of the dash. Anyone think it might be the tuner or should I just mount the antenna outside?
Here's the setup
Pioneer AVICF900BT
Pioneer 920XM tuner
Thanks in advance

I know mine cuts out once in a while (for like 2 - 3 seconds) then comes right back on. SOmetimes it'll even say Updating XM. But it only started doing it in the past 3 months or so.

I had a portable XM unit that I used before I got the Cobalt and used the antenna on the dash method.
I've noticed in the last 2 years that reception seems to be getting worse, and even the radio in the Cobalt drops up way more than I think is reasonable, considering I'm not going under bridges or in tunnels very much.
