Yea the bowtie is held on just by 2 little nuts, popped that off, and the SS comes with an adhesive and just pops right on top. Looks a lot better, especially on black cars (IMO).

i painted my bowtie black about a year ago and it fell apart on the highway yesterday, saw a piece of black plastic bounce across my hood and up the windshield. I stopped by my dealer today to pick up an ss badge but as usual it had to be ordered...oh well only $10. thanks for the idea though
