Clean Silver '06 Cobalt LS

Cleaned up my 'O6 Cobalt LS and decided to take some pix, sorry about the quality of the pix. Next time I will take it outside and take some decent pix. The mods are- AntennaX 13" Antenna, Chrome Exhaust Tip, Passport 8500 Radar Detector, COBALT 3rd Brake Light cover, and soon 17" Kobe Kam-5 rims and tires.

Gotta clean up the inside

Take a seat behind the wheel.

Make sure you get some sportlines after you get those rims, because without them, the rims wont look much better, look at my pictures for reference, that gap in our wheel wells kills the look of rims.
I Just had Eibach Sportlines installed and it definitely brought my rims, and whole car to life, it's so much more low-profile now, and it makes it look that much less stock

What's the point of the positioning of the radar detector?

I put my radar detector just under my rear view mirror. The cord goes over the mirror an down to the plug. I would hate having a cord in my face while driving

I placed the radar detector there so 1) I could see it 2) I could hear it 3) Less noticable 4)Picks up the signal just as good as having it smack dab in the middle of your windshield. It doesnt block your view at all, and its at my eye level (Im 6'4")

How hard is it to switch the springs around? I believe it would be easier now before everything gets rusted.

The pix of the radar detector showes it much lower then what it is. The cord isnt "in your face", u barely even notice it because its off to the side and there is a good 6" plus between the steering wheel and the cord so you dont have to worry about catching your hand on it. Im looking to get one of the smart cords that hook directly into the car and run the wires down the pillar so there wont be any cord, much cleaner.
