Looks good

I was actually going to order a silver LS 1SA sedan last month, but the salesman at that particular dealership didn't think my financial situation was good enough -- so I went to my favorite dealership and bought a white LS 1SA instead. I've seen one other Cobalt on the road in my area, which was a silver LS sedan (1SB, I think) that looked similar to yours.

Right now I have ordered the Arrival Blue SS/SC but I love the silver thats the color of my Grand Am.I'm having a hard time deciding because it would be nice to have a new color, but silver is so easy to keep clean and just looks good. I have a little time though that I can still change my order.

Nope -- this is my sixth car and I've never customized any of them.

I almost left with a blue sedan...but it wasn't an LS though, it did have the stick and would have had my wheels installed to that car instead.

btw...my '01 Grand Am GT is a sedan and silver too.

Did the dealer tint the glass for you? if so did you just ask them to do it? How much do they want? Was it done at the Plant or at the Dealership???

Because I have a guy that can do my car when I get it.. for $175. +tax$189 Front window done for free 1/4 of the way down.. All legal tint, maybe that back I'll do real dark.. I have to see how comfortable I feel in the car!

Thanks!

I'm not sure where the windows came from...my dealership had 2 sedans on the lot set up with tinted glass and 18" wheels. I liked the wheels on the other car (a red one) more so I had them swap the wheels to my silver LS instead. the red one has the mp3 stereo and chrome door handles added on...it was pretty nice looking but a little to bright for my tastes.

anyway...the windows show no evidence of film tinting what so ever. they look to me like the glass itself is dark.

Most of the upgrades on my car wouldnt work for your car. I have an SE1 4 cyl so my intake, throttlebody and stuff like that wont fit right. I had upgraded brakes drilled rotors rear disc conversion. And a lot of car audio stuff done. Most of the stuff that I pulled off I'm going to keep because I'll probably end up getting a used manual grand am eventually.

About those wheels...

Okay, so they were dealer installed wheels. Here's my questions for you. Do you have 4 or 5 lug hubs? Those wheels look like 5 lug hubs and the Cobalt (except for the SS) has only 4 luggers. I would be curious how they put 5 lug hubs on it since I want to do 18" wheels on mine as well. The biggest you can get with 4 lugs is 17".

EDIT:
Strike that, I just found a Motegi in an 18" with 4 lugs.
