So I installed the Ingalls Engine Damper today... here are the results...

By the looks of that pic the dampner looks installed wrong. The o ring washers go in between the the dampner and the bracket.

you have the bolts backwards.... nuts are suppoesed to be against the bracket... but looks good I just did mine today

wow that looks amazing What kind of paint did you use for the brackets and sparkplug cover? And did you have to prep them at all, ie sand 'em down?

I was about to make a post and call you an idiot but..... i just double checked my instructions, and one of the pictures ( the one i happened to look at) has the nut on the wrong side lmao. And the other picture has the nut on the bracket side.

Ingalls fucked up.

no i didnt prep them, i just sprayed on the base coat (its sparkly) let it dry, then sprayed on the blue paint. and let it dry, it was easy and everyone thinks its anodized.

your right, i read through the Ingalls instructions again, and it said and I QUOTE

"The nut and bolt can be swapped with the nut against the bracket OR rod-end, but the o-ring placement should not be changed."

My o-ring is in the right spot. So i am not worried.
