Just hit 60000 miles, runnin like a champ!
Ok first heres me. Im 22 working full time as an engineer. Part time going to school.
Ive owned the car for two 1/2 years now. Got it bone stock.
Instantly decided i wanted to mod it. As i started doing small things the overall plan for my car started to take place.
Im not a autoxer and sometimes i hit the drag strip. (current best: 14.2 @ 102 ) MOSTLY, however, my car is my daily driver and my baby and something i like to take to shows.
I want it to be a street car. Something that doesnt look too far from stock, but as clean as possible. And upon a closer look, you will see all the little things ive done to it and appreciate it for what it is: a souped up, one off economy sports car. Not just that, but a supercharger screaming, 3000lb american dream of a sports car. A rare find, mind you. A ridgid handling, mean looking, car that bounces sportily over the well lit but gritty chicago streets, blending into this world of neon lights with its leds and hids. A car that makes metallic silver look fresh, of all things.
I have touched all corners of the car to get it just about where i want it. Enough power to play with but not break the tires loose every time i wanna punch 2nd gear. Loud enough to hear that m62 scream as the hunkered down ss cuts through the backroads of the county. But not loud enough to get dirty looks from grown enthusiasts and police. I made the interior accomidate all of my needs for an interior that it didnt have before, except a nice gps headunit. It now feels and drives the same way it looks like it should. I like the red gauges and lights furiously staring back at me at night. And most of all, its great to have a car that many just dont understand, and therefore underestimate, then knock their socks off on a quick street pull.
Now, im gonna own this car for a while, and will likely never be satisfied with modding it. So well see where my power goals wind up over the next few years, so stay tuned. As of now my goal is 300 wheel.
So without further adue, the mods list.

Ive been Considering re-moving (not removing) that badge over like you said. Without the 'cobalt' letters the ss badge seems out of.place everywhere
Thank you! Ill shoot you a pm about that!

I can dig it.. I liked the stripes tho, twas a nice look.. I say don't move the 'SS' over tho, it looks just as out of place, if not worse, all the way to the left.. Wat ya need are some retrofitt'd headlights tho bra...
