In early 2011 I started looking for a new daily driver to replace my 2003 WRX. I needed something that I could mod and had settled on wanting a Cobalt SS/TC after researching all the options for AWD/FWD turbo cars under $20k that were less than 3 years old. But I didn't want just any SS/TC, I had to have a 4-door. The ultimate sleeper. I was in no hurry and didn't want to travel far -- my patience paid off in May of 2011 when a 26,000 mile white SS sedan popped up at a Jeep dealership about 150 miles from me in Colorado Springs, CO. $16,500 later I was the proud owner of an immaculate GMS1 SS/TC Sedan. This particular car was actually a pre-production RPO code car and was owned by General Motors Detriot Service Division for about the first 12,000 miles of its life before being sold at a GM auction. I chose the mods on this car to do as much as possible for as little money as possible, all the while keeping the outside appearence as subtle as possible. Just a humble little rental car that can infuriate most Vette owners with a loud NLS "pop" as they watch its taillights pull away. Car has 58,000 miles on it currently and sees the road everyday and full boost daily with no signs of giving in.

Thanks guys/gal! lol I was a little worried with all the sticker-bombing and stancing going on that no one would still be interested in a car that has most of the money put under the hood.

Yessir. It was at a track at 5800ft above sea level with a DA of 8600ft that day too. Corrected to sea level, it works out to about a 12.5 @ 116mph in perfect weather. Stupid altitude.
