I'm considering it LOL! I test drove the cobalt SS/SC. I really didnt expect the drive to be as good and satisfying. It was fun, a fun car to drive. Went to a saturn dealer and they didnt have any RL's but the salesman said he'll call me soon as they get in.

you're right...why buy a Saturn with cheap GM parts when you can buy a Chevy with the exact same cheap GM parts.

Saturn sucks...

Get whatever you can get the best deal on...there really is no difference in build quality and performance.

Just test drove a redline, it was as good as the ss/sc!!!!! Believe it or not, i got used to the center mounted guages, thanks 2 driving my buddies Xb. Just wondering, will the gm stage upgrades be available for the RL's? BTW ill be making my purchase in late febuary. I really want to thank all of you in the ss/sc and rl community for offering so many good points. after driving both i am defenitly an ecotec fan!!!!!

Upgrades will be for the LSJ motor, which is the same in both cars, so the IRL will work with stage 1 & 2. Enjoy the ride when you get it, congrats, and welcome to the powerful world of the LSJ.

ATTENTION! Im the proud owner of a 2006 saturn ion redline with comp package, audio and onstar. Thanks for all your input again!!!!! BTW, any1 know how to program the boost lights? The manual isnt helping.

the lights on the ladder tach are rpm shift points...

and there are knobs on the back of the ladder tach to adjsut them.
