08 LNF Boost problem

A couple times in the past week, it won't get into boost. It was very hot, around 90*, and the coolant temp was over 200*. There was a code, not sure the number, that said turbo underboost.
Is there a shutdown for temp? Is it the intake air sensor?

There are limits in the ecu, but 90* and coolant just over 200* wont set them. But for overboost it will limit boost to protect the turbo.

As with all boosted cars, start with a boost leak check (build or use an actual boost leak tester, don't just look at the clamps)

Thanks, but I have been driving like a Grandma lately and just driving it to work. Just noticed the problem, but after resetting the code, it goes into boost normally. It did it for the third time Friday on the way home from work and that is when I checked the temperatures. Once it did it and didn't throw a coce because I didn't try and see if it would go into boost.
How does one check for boost leaks?
