Personally i say dont go with Hahn. There tune is lame and the parts are super cheap. Plastic bosh BOV and Two Ply couplers ha. I have a Hahn kit on my 2.4 and it has been nothing but problems. There fuel management and tune is horrible. I guess its a good kit if you want a easy install and never run over 8lbs of boost. There is a company called Milwaukee Motorwurks that builds a super nice kit. Brian has been in the turbo market longer then anyone i know. http://www.milwaukeemotorwerks.com/ Check out his work. He is currently working on my GT35R set up on my 2.4SS. Better bang for your buck.
either is fine

they sell s/c and turbo kits for our motor. i have a custom turbo setup but i was gonna buy the zzp before i found my current one.

thanks everyone for the posts...buuuut i must say something...this whole supercharger turbocharger thing is a lose lose! you will never convince a supercharger guy that turbos are better...supercarger has no boost lag and turbos do but turbos have a lot more top end than superchargers. either way BOOST IS BOOST doesnt matter what u go!
AND YAAAA reppin the 08' cobalt sport!

That is primarily because the 08's were designated as "Sports". The 06/07's were all designated as the non-Supercharged SS. Same car, different badges.
As far as the turbo v. supercharger debate. It depends on what you're looking to do. The Supercharger is the safer and more reliable setup, but is limited on output, even with the TVS. The Turbocharger setup is more if you're power hungry (300HP + builds), but are willing to take the risks with reliability.

and on turbo lag.. if u get a properly sized turbo that wont be an issue.. the lag is minimal. ive ran s/c cars and pulled easy on em.
either choice is great. 2.4s are awesome boosted.
The 'reliability' is more from the extra parts needed in the system (wastegate, BOV, charge piping, oil feed lines) that could possibly go wrong. I hear the SS/TC guys have issues with their charge piping coming apart quite a bit. Also it is much easier to overboost the 2.4 with the turbo if you're not watching what you're doing. The supercharger setups are hard to crack 300 with, so the chance of breaking something on the 2.4 is quite low.
That being said, if I were running the 2.4, I'd definately go turbo out of preference.

lol usually all that stuff comes with the kits that are out there unless u go custom..
sstc stock piping is crappy plastic sht.. my piping is all aluminum along with beaded edges and is welded in spots so its pretty solid. feed line's stainless and the return is like rubber hosing with a lining. wastegate is solid in a Tial and bov is my only crappy part. i have a ebay bov that i been tryna change for a while

on the tc vs. sc debate turbos do have lag no matter what size but the smaller u go the more ur killing urself in the top end a smaller turbo might only be good up to 4 grand but then take a **** after that so whats the point! superchargers have 0 boost lag along with less moving parts but just dont have the higher end on there side...and thats total crap saying that you can only get 300hp out of a supercharger! if you cant get more than that then your doin something SERIOUSLY wrong! if you want off the line power superchargers are impossible to beat but if you want power from a roll turbos are the way to go! love both!! BOOST IS A BEAUTIFUL THING!!!
