Its alright. I hate the fact its an auto. Next mod will be sell the car soon and get either a used WRX or a SS/TC. Probably more towards the WRX thought because if I can sell it soon I have someone near me with an 06 WRX, bone stock, with 68k miles. He is only asking 10k for it and AWD would help so much in Nebraska winters.

Sucks being 18 thought and having to pay for everything myself haha, but if I could get 6k out of my car I could get this 06 WRX and I don't mind buying used or cars with salvaged titles since I am in college to become a mechanic lol so repairs would should be fairly easy and cheap. Plus a WRX has way more potential than my 2.2.

Haha I feel! I was the same. But now my warrantys long gone lol
my goal once the engine is built is 400hp. i went with the gt35 for that reason. it was a bitch to get the 35 in between the engine/firewall. theres about a 1/2" clearence from the compressor housing to the firewall.
i like the feel of it. once it hits boost it moves along nicely. right now my tune is extremely rich so the power falls flat. i did this because i need my motor to last until the end of the year so i can build the motor.
Nice man! How's the power in tht sleeper. I get tht alot too, outside of being blacked out ppl just think I'm all looks. Let me know how ur internals go cuz I'm doin the same **** in December. I wanna be able to run a crazy setup in mines.

the power is fun right now. it doesnt have as much power as it should as the tune is extremely rich. im not the kind of person to rice out the exterior so i kept it completely stock. my goal was to make it a complete sleeper so whomever i was racing wouldnt know until it was too late. the outside has scratches, scrapes and some dings. intercooler is completely hidden. just shy of lifting the hood someone walking up to it would never know. i have a gauge pod on the pillar so i need to tint the windows but otherwise theres no other way to tell.
the turbo can be heard but not till its too late. it doesnt spool till ~4000 rpm. i am currently driving it like a little bitch so i can guarantee the engine will survive until the end of the year so i can build it. cant build a destroyed motor

i went with the gt3582 because i wanted a streetable high hp daily driver. the 82ar exhaust housing doesnt boost till ~4k rpm and that is what i was looking for. i drive around town and get 23mpg but when i wanted power i just put my foot into it.

i did the same thing except i made my log manifold with the flange mounted at a 45 degree angle otherwise there was no way to fit it in there, especially with my auto trans.
trans is doing good. since the turbo doesnt spool up till 4000 rpm the tranny recieves less shock then it would at a lower rpm prolonging its life. when my engine is built for 400hp that maybe a different story.
find out what turbo you buddy is using. a gt3582 is probably the biggest turbo you would want to go with on the 2.2. there is a couple different exhaust housing options you can get for the gt35. i believe the lowest option is 63 a/r if you want to spool quicker than ~4000 rpm.
