Stock turbo falls off at 5800 anyway, so if you are still on it you aren't losing anything.

Yes this is why I set the rev limiter to 6500 because even that is kinda high on the stock turbo. My fav thing about the R even if it didn't make more peak power was that I could rev and had power to 6500 no problem

If somebody wasn't out of coil packs my powerband would be getting a major overhaul next week

I looked at that video again and noticed that with the 4.45 gears it hits 60 around 4100rpm and starts screaming at 4500 with full boost so that's not much time waiting for spool.

I think Zack and I should have simular results with our 7163 and 4.05s

So finished Justin's tune today 24.3psi @ 24* timing with a 60 to 100 of 3.505!!

I'm really happy with the results and the turbo spools faster than I thought it would. I had to work a lot with the fuelling on spool to keep the rail pressure up. So I would recommend at least running a fuel lobe with this turbo to keep up with the spool we're at 6.4ms up top @ 24psi so we have more headroom there but we would also have to switch out the 14psi WG spring to the higher rate one he has.

Justin is planning on hitting the dyno his next day off so I can't wait to see the numbers!!

On the rollers he had a bad exhaust manifold leak still managed 430hp or something. It's fixed up now we just have to retune the trims and redyno

So Justin had a tach fail like usual but made 481hp on 24 to 25psi which is bad ass on a stock engine!!!

So justin wants to turn his car up but is maxed on fuel on both spool and topend. So we are going to try E35 and a spring change to get the boost up.

Wow not bad. Almost 500 on that turbo. I'm thinking of getting 1 and ditching the s256et. I sort of maxed that turbo out at 513 with 28 psi. I'm very interested to see what the s257 does at 30+ psi. I'll keep an eye on this thread. Very interesting.

Lol. Conservative. I hit the goal. Not crazy about pushing more on it. That's why I have a side project. Lsj t with a 2.1. This is why I'm interested in the turbo info before I drop a 60 trim in it

So we finished Justins E35 tune tonight. He says it's way faster and we got more spool and boost and were still able to run the same timing!! I think he's over 500hp now
