Build question

Alright guys I have looked for the answer for a few days and I see tons of different answers. I hope I can get help from some of u guys that have done it.

I have 2.4 cobalt its auto and supercharged. Im putting on the 42lb injectors and going to the 3.1 pulley. I want to know what is too much for PSI to run on my car. I dont want to blow a piston or anything. So I wanna know what my limit is later in the summer im going to get header/DP and exhaust on so I also want to know if that will be too much. I saw geneculley talking about not going over 250 before forging ur pistons but I want to get more info on that so if gene ur out there ur help would be much appreciated!

I could be wrong but doesn't the 2.4 have stronger internals than the 2.2? The 2.2 rods are rated for 250 hp.

I did some research and I found out on a GM perfomance book that they recommend getting the pistons and rods changed for when u wanna go over 250hp for both 2.4 and 2.2. I would like someone that knows better to help out
