actualy 4 pass is correct. the 4 pass goes through 4 coors in the intake, dual pass splits the coolant flow so it goes through 2 cores at a time.

I guess it depends on how you define "pass." I thought "pass" meant something like "path." Using this definition, the stock cooler setup uses a single path, as you've stated, whereas the dual-pass(path) setup uses two diconnected paths (passes) through the intercooler.

All semantic arguments aside, the aforementioned animation shows the stock coolant flow setup.
