I wouldn't say EXACTLY but a good estimate cause every setup will result in a different amount of power, whether it's by 10 HP or 1 HP.

<3 NJHK, thats what i ment =P. I chilled with John from Alpine for 45 minutes at his shop, and he explained to me exactly what happens under boost. He explained about calculating the power by knowing how much air is going into the engine and so much more. I seriously was blown away by how much knowledge John has about turbocharging. Even kevin(Speed Mafia) was blown away by him and he knows a lot about FI. I wouldnt underestimate these guys, I know its going to produce the power they say, and within a day or so we will all see the proof.

John at alpine already had numbers around 190whp on 7-8psi and with mods like exhaust and higher flowing TB and intake...etc and little more boost you could be right around 220whp in nothing flat...

But on the good news Dave Text me from alpine and said the car is up and running and they are tuning today! weather is nice and the sun is out i might have to head to the shop and get some vids

i do believe this includes the Cobalt guys as there is 4 ions and 1 cobalt guy from cobaltSS . com that is jumping on board before the price goes up! So you only suck for a week or 2 till my kit is done

John said it will be done this weekend, so my buddy is flyin out tomorrow and stayin with a friend, and im gonna try and fly out tomorrow as well, but if not, friday. ITS DONE. Just got word from Dave that its driving and that they are just making some fine tuning adjustments to it. Its offically ready for me to pick up. Ill be getting there either tomorrow night or friday around noon. So expect Dyno graphs from us this weekend and VIDEOS sunday. But the real nice video with various cars and pulls will be finished mid next week.

PS. If anyone lives in the SLC Area and wants to know what a car like mine can do, just let me know before sunday and ill stop by SLC. Already stopping there for one individual.

Cool, good to see the SMT-6 in action. I was curious to see how long it would take for someone to go this route. I myself was unsure if the SMT would actually be able to control spark or if an MSD ignition would have to be used. Good to see the SMT come through.

Yeah the SMT-6 Alpine has been using since 2003 on there ions and now there cobalts! damn sweet i say!

My favorite part about this is that i can take it home, throw some forged pistons/rods into it, and crank the boost up and tune it myself. Im debating doing that or working on the suspension first. Hmmm. 275whp or 200whp and nice handling.

well im just hangin out in SLC airport right now on my pocketpc, waiting on my hop to denver. I will post a small video from my ppc this afternoon. I will most likely youtube it. or thow it up on myspace. it will just be a short vid until we get back home. then the fun starts. I've got a 06 ss/sc, 05 Ion RL, 04 wrx / ecu flash, an srt4, and a 96 trans am lined up for some fun. if I keep up with any one of these cars, ill be stoked. cuz then I'm @ 14k keeping up with 20k+ cars.
