I know there is a lot of posts on turbos and superchargers on the forum...but does anyone know hard facts on who and about the time of a new turbo for the SS(non SC)? Im hoping in the next year or two(at the latest). I just want to know the car I am going to buy is going to be modable a lot...I would like to be running under 350hp and 350lbs...I hope turbonetics or someone creates a strong turbo soon! Any info is appreciate! Thanks

 

well all i know are these kits are in r&d stages: turbonetics, garrett, hahn racecraft, maximum boost, and i think gm and sc dyne may do the supercharger thing all this spring i would say.

 

Very nice...good something to look forward...im hoping the #s come back great...im hopin to see at 5psi with the SS(non SC)...about 250hp 245lbs...would be good...maybe 8psi almost 300...great #s I would love it

 

your not gonna get 250 hp at the wheels at 5 psi with a SS/NA 2.4

 

to get 250 whp on the ss it will take 8-9 psi. 5 psi maybe around 200 whp

 

Keep in mind hans motorsports released that they can get a 2.2 LS auto to 425hp. That was the only info they released so far.

I believe it was halfcent who gave us that info.
