the gm stg 2 you can probably find for like 500 and if you go with a custom stg 2, then itll probably be cheaper. youre probably better off getting a custom stg 2 unless you wanna keep your warranty

So it's saying you're going to get 245 HP after installing this? Is this with or without a tune?

What would approx. HP be without the tune? Or will the dealership tune for you?

You need the tune or you'll most likely go boom. From what I understand, you can have it intalled at a dealership and tuned there. You could also do the conversion yourself and have an appointment set-up with the dealership for the tune which I believe has it's own part# that you should get with the kit. Or you can install the kit yourself and tune it yourself with a Tech II or III, don't remember which, if you can get a hold of one.

Hmm...I haven't really thought of going Stage 2. From what I read at the dealership, it only gave like 15 more HP...but I think I thought that because the tech. working on my car said I already had 230 HP. So in a nutshell, I spend the $$ to get this kit, and I'll be at 245HP, and tuned? All that's included?

245bhp. Around 230whp. It should be good for putting this car in the high 13s. Stage 2 only. Add a nice exhaust and maybe a CAI and mid 13s are for real.

Did you not get it tuned through the dealership? Or you did, but you just want to get another?

haha you might not get exactly 245 hp out of the stg 2 but you get new injectors(42#) which allow you to go with a smaller pulley. and smaller pulley means more hp. and as far as the tune goes its just a canned tune, if you get a custom tune youll be able to pull better numbers than the gm can tune. and to answer your question yes its all included but they might charge you at the dealership for installation.

Lol...I figured they would charge. It's nothing I would do...well I would do it if I had $500 laying around...but if I had that kind of money, I would do a custom setup.

In no way am I saying you can't get it cheaper. I listed a site where you can get it for about $150 less then most prices advertised brand new.
