Anyone ever test some of these out? I've seen the gold, silver, and purple ones.

My bov came with the silver one and I was starting to get bored of the sound of it. I took off the housing and just popped the silver piece out and now it sounds sick. Kind of inaudible from inside the car but it sounds naaaasty from the outside. Just a huge WOOOOOSH.

If anyone has an HKS and you're getting bored of it this is definitely a good way to completely change the sound of it. The housing of the bov is held on by 8 screws. Take those off and just seperate the silver, gold, or purple insert from the rubber gasket thing. Seperate the insert from the rubber gasket and put the gasket back into the housing and put it back on the bov. Pretty simple and quick way to comepletely change the sound of your bov without getting a whole new one.

Found this video that shows some of the difference between the inserts. I'm thinking of buying the purple one.
